Imagine the soft sound of waves lapping against ancient canals, bathed in radiant sunlight. In a city where streets are water and cars are absent, it feels like time stands still—a place where history and art come alive as one.

That’s exactly how Venice and Biennale greeted us during our art-filled journey this November. 🛶

You might have caught some glimpses of the tour on my Instagram here — now let me take you even further and transport you into the heart of the experience for a moment. ✨

We moved through the city as Venetians have done for centuries, gliding across its waterways in water taxis and gondolas, feeling the unique calm only the canals can offer.

Drifting through shimmering lagoon felt like stepping into a living painting — Venice revealed itself to us in ways only the water can show. ✨

One unforgettable day took us to Murano, the iconic island of glassblowing. There, we visited exclusive showrooms, and met some of the most acclaimed glass artists of today.

Art was the golden thread weaving through our entire journey, with the Venice Biennale at the heart of the experience. 🎨

At the Biennale we discovered art and rising artists from all over the globe, represented by 88 countries! Some of the most striking impressions came from Brasil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Benin and Kazakhstan — places we rarely get to experience through art!

We also had the privilege of meeting with leading international galleries, set within the walls centuries old palazzos, blending the charm of the past with the vibrancy of modern creativity. There we had a chance to come closer to the works of Banksy, Warhol. Dali, Chagall and others!

While in Venice, one cannot ignore the history! So, alongside contemporary art, we paid tribute to the unique historical heritage. One of such explorations led us to an architectural marvel, a 1000-year old cathedral, slowly sinking in the sea ...

The highlight? An evening at La Fenice, one of the world’s oldest opera houses 🎭, where the very walls seemed to whisper stories of Venice’s grandeur.

And then, of course, there was the Venetian gastronomy. From traditional cicchetti (Venetian tapas) to fresh seafood sourced directly from the lagoon, the cuisine truly dazzled us. 🍴🍷 To top it all off, our visit aligned perfectly with Italy’s magical truffle season! 😋

Culinary experiences are an essential part of all my private art tours. They provide a moment to relax, awaken the senses, and connect more deeply with fellow travellers—a remarkable group of seasoned art collectors from all around the world!

Venice left us with unforgettable memories, art insights and new knowledge — a beautiful reminder that art is about feeling and living in the moment. ❤️
